Statement to Class Afloat Staff and Families

Last week Class Afloat, a sail training and education program based in Lunenburg, had a harrowing experience off the coast of Brazil. The South Shore Regional School Board operates the Lunenburg Academy where Class Afloat holds their classroom component and houses their offices.

The South Shore Regional School Board would offer their thoughts and best wishes to the staff, crew, students and their families. Everyone within the South Shore Regional School Board are thankful that all those on board were rescued and have been reunited with their loved ones.
